The NFL had exciting news to share this Tuesday regarding the Week 16 schedule.
On Dec. 20, NFL fans will be treated to a pair of division games. The Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders will square off at 5 p.m. ET. The kickoff time was officially announced this afternoon.
Last year, the Commanders and Eagles met in the NFC Championship Game. We won't see that playoff matchup again this season. While the Eagles are currently in first place in the NFC East, the Commanders are 3-9 and in the hunt for a top-five pick.
The second game on tap features the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears. This NFC North battle will be in the 8:20 p.m. ET slot.
As of now, the Bears are the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Their showdown with the Packers might just decide who'll have home-field advantage in the playoffs.
Not only will NFL fans be treated to two exciting Saturday games in Week 16, they'll get to watch the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks square off on "Thursday Night Football."
The slate for Dec. 21 includes a juicy matchup between the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens. Additionally, the Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars will go head-to-head in a potential playoff preview.
Week 16 will wrap up with the San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts on "Monday Night Football."
It sure seems like NFL fans will get spoiled with great games this holiday season.
