Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers dropped to 9-4-1 after losing to the Denver Broncos 34-26 in Week 15. It snapped a four-game winning streak for Green Bay.
Love completed 24-of-40 passes for 276 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions and a 68.3 passer rating. It marked the first time this season the quarterback had thrown multiple interceptions in a game.
With 1:30 left in the second quarter, he completed a 16-yard pass to tight end Luke Musgrave. Along with the completion, Broncos defensive end Zach Allen was penalized for roughing the passer.
In total, the Packers netted 31 yards on the play, giving them the ball on Denver's 33-yard line. Green Bay would make a 35-yard field goal with two seconds on the clock, giving it a 16-14 lead going into halftime.
Unfortunately for Allen, in addition to aiding the Packers' scoring drive, the penalty put him under review for another punishment. Players can be fined $17,389 for roughing the passer violation and $23,186 for a second violation in the same season, per the NFL's rulebook.
On Saturday, the NFL announced its official decision regarding Allen's hit on Love. Fortunately for him, he did not appear on the Week 15 game day accountability report. The only Broncos player fined was safety Talanoa Hufanga ($11,593, unnecessary roughness).
He and the Broncos (12-2) now move on while riding an 11-game winning streak. Their Week 16 matchup is at home against the 10-4 Jacksonville Jaguars.
Meanwhile, Love is leading the Packers on the road in a Saturday night matchup against the 10-4 Chicago Bears. The two are neck-and-neck in the NFC North, with Green Bay able to take the lead with a win.
