The Buffalo Bills enter Week 10 at 6‑2 following a hard-fought 28‑21 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9. Quarterback Josh Allen completed 23 of 26 passes for 273 yards and added two rushing touchdowns, finishing with an 88.5% completion rate, the highest of his career. Tight end Dalton Kincaid contributed six receptions for 101 yards and a score, while running back James Cook rushed for 114 yards on 27 carries.

For Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes struggled, completing just 15 of 34 passes for 250 yards with one interception. It was the lowest completion rate of his NFL career and he also failed to throw a touchdown pass.

Wide receiver Rashee Rice caught four passes for 80 yards, while Xavier Worthy managed just three catches for 23 yards. The Chiefs now 5‑4 and entering a Week 10 bye, while Buffalo turns its focus to Sunday’s road game against the Miami Dolphins, while sitting second in the AFC East.

During the Chiefs-Bills game, Bills cornerback Christian Benford delivered a helmet-first hit on Chiefs Worthy in the first quarter at the 3:40 mark. Officials flagged the play for unnecessary roughness/use of the helmet.

On Saturday, the NFL announced Benford would be fined $14,714 for the incident. Bendford is one of four Buffalo players to be fined this week, joining Allen (unsportsmanlike conduct/violent gesture), running back Ty Johnson (unnecessary roughness/facemask), and wide receiver Elijah Moore (unsportsmanlike conduct/violent gesture).

The fine adds to Benford’s woes this week, with his status for Sunday’s game against Miami questionable, per Friday’s injury report. The 25-year-old was initially listed as limited in practice on Wednesday with a groin injury and was later downgraded on Thursday after he did not participate at all.

Buffalo now turn their attention to Sunday’s matchup against Miami at 1pm ET on CBS, hoping to clinch their second win of the season against their divisional rivals.
