NFL 'Beat the Line' moves for championship weekend

Anyone else having fun with these NFL playoffs? We sure are at "Beat the Line." After a 2-0 week in the wild-card round, we swept the board again in the divisional round with the Green Bay Packers +10 and Travis Kelce over 60.5 receiving yards. Our "BTL" picks are now 31-19-1 (60.8 percent) against the spread on the year.

Let's gun for a third straight sweep with two more picks for championship weekend.

2023-24 record: 30-13-8 CLV, 31-19-1 ATS

Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens

Our first "BTL" player prop of the season cashed for us last week, so let's go right back to the well for the AFC Championship.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been stellar against the pass all season, but they can be pushed around in the running game. KC gave up 182 rushing yards to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round, and Josh Allen accounted for a team-high 72. Well, the Baltimore Ravens were watching Allen torch the Chiefs on QB keepers, and they'll put a plan in place for Lamar Jackson to do the same.

Jackson averages 93.4 rushing yards per game in the playoffs, and he's gone over 59.5 rushing yards in four of his five postseason starts. This line won't stay below 60 for long.

The bet to make: Lamar Jackson over 59.5 rushing yards (-114 FanDuel)

Detroit Lions @ San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers looked terrible in their narrow victory against the Packers, but that might've been just what we needed to get a valuable bet on the NFC Championship game.

You can chalk San Fran's poor performance up to a few factors. For one, it was pouring rain for most of the game, and Brock Purdy was clearly having trouble gripping the ball and throwing accurate passes. The starters also could've been rusty after taking the previous two weeks off, and Deebo Samuel suffered a shoulder injury early and didn't play most of the game.

The forecast for Sunday calls for warm weather and no precipitation, and Samuel avoided a major injury. If the explosive wide receiver is good to go for the NFC Championship, this spread won't stay under -7.

The bet to make: 49ers -6.5 (-115 DraftKings)
