NFL Commissioner Roger Goodel just announced that the Buffalo Bills will take center stage in HBO’s Hard Knocks during training camp this summer, with the NFC East being the focus for the in-season edition.
The decision places the exciting Josh Allen led Bills and a star-filled division under the NFL Films microscope, promising fans an inside look at how the franchises operate.
The show’s original launch was in 2001 with the Baltimore Ravens and it has covered over half of the current NFL franchises. It began as just a training camp series, offering a unique perspective on locker room drama and how NFL team’s assess their roster heading into the regular season.

Now, the show has evolved by bringing an in-season version and that started in 2021 with the Indianapolis Colts.
The show’s impact is truly outstanding because it provides significant coverage and exposure to teams, which can increase support and fan interest. It has sometimes brought unwanted drama to the spotlight, like when the Browns were featured in 2018 where they faced scrutiny over distractions.
On the other side, it has also assisted with elevating players like J.J. Watt during the 2015 Texans feature.
It’s the first time the Buffalo Bills have ever been chosen to participate in the 19-time Sports Emmy®-winning series, titled TRAINING CAMP WITH THE BUFFALO BILLS. It will take place at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford, New York, with the reigning NFL MVP and company gearing up for the season.
HARD KNOCKS: IN SEASON WITH THE NFC EAST will debut in December and it will feature the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Washington Commanders, and reigning Super Bowl LIX champion Philadelphia Eagles, showcasing some of the leagues’ best talent and clubs.
