The NFL Draft has come to an end, so with it, the Green Bay Packers’ 2025 draft picks has officially been finalized.
The 2025 NFL Draft was hosted by Green Bay this year and it was amazing! Green Bay turned out to be a great place to host the draft, and over 600,000 people attended this year’s festivities. Even though it’s the smallest market in all of North America’s major sports, Green Bay showed that they are, per capita, the greatest fans in all of sports! The atmosphere was absolutely electric, fun times were shared, and memories were made for a lifetime!
Therefore, I want to say: thank you, Green Bay, for being such great hosts!
Overall, two hundred and fifty-seven players had their names read this year! So, out of all of those selections, the Green Bay Packers were able to add eight new players through the draft.
An interesting nugget about this year’s draft class: Brian Gutekunst made no trades for the first time in a draft! Thus, Green Bay selected players with every pick that they started the draft with. This, of course, was absolutely astonishing to me.
The Packers were also 50/50 this year with drafting offense and defense. There were four offensive players and four defensive players chosen, although the first three picks were offense.
And of course, the biggest story from this Packers draft (outside of Green Bay hosting) was the selection of a wide receiver in the first round. When Mark Murphy said, “for the first time since 2002…”, everybody in the crowd exploded in cheers! Of course, I, for one, added to the loud burst of cheers. Such a truly great moment, one that I will never forget!
So, finally, here is the 2025 Green Bay Packers’ draft class:
And of course, as always,
Go Pack Go!
