We're going through all the available futures offered to us for each NFL team and picking out two of our favorites.
Maybe it's a player prop future, maybe it's built on the team itself. Either way, we're finding two bets for all 32 teams. Today's target: The Dallas Cowboys.
We've been a bit too chummy about the most of the teams we've highlighted so far, it seems only right we mix that up sooner before later, and Dallas is a compelling case to fade in 2024.
There is a lot of bad vibes coming out of the Cowboys camp of late. CeeDee Lamb is holding out for a new contract. Micah Parsons wants a new contract. Dak Prescott appears to be playing his last season as a Cowboy.
Compiling star players is great, but when ownership refuses to respect them with new contact extensions, it's easy to see how vibes can plummet.
Pair all of that with an Eagles team reloaded and ready for another postseason run and an improved Washington Commanders team with an exciting Jayden Daniels at QB, and Dallas could be in for a so-so campaign ahead.
The offensive line is also aging and becoming an issue, while there only "splash" addition this offseason was adding back a soon-to-be 30-year-old Zeke Elliott to presumably be a bell-cow back again. Yeah, good luck with that.
We're out on Dallas this year.
Dallas' Jake Ferguson, their starting tight end, figures to once again be one of Dak Prescott's most targeted players.
Last season, Ferguson saw 102 targets and caught five touchdowns, and he was fifth in the NFL with 23 red zone targets.
That's the type of workload that could lead to touchdowns in a hurry, especially if the run game isn't working with Elliott and a declining offensive line.
By all means, include Ferguson to catch 5+ at -175 in a parlay, we like him much more on that number, but this is a solid price for a big campaign from the Dallas TE.
If Lamb's holdout leaks into the regular season, all the more reason to expect a productive season coming for Ferguson.
