We're going through all the available futures offered to us for each NFL team and picking out two of our favorites.
Maybe it's a player prop future, maybe it's built on the team itself. Either way, we're finding two bets for all 32 teams. Today's target: the Indianapolis Colts.
Now sure, this award has more recently been designed for the best non-QB, but that doesn't mean that's all the award is.
Richardson is one of the biggest X-factors of this season in our eyes. We barely got to see him in his rookie season due to injury, but when he did play, he showed all the makings of an elite dual-threat quarterback.
A bet here is very much a projection, as Richardson hasn't shown us much of a sample size, but Indy coach Shane Steichen has gone on the record saying he's not planning to slow down Richardson's rushing element this season.
Richardson could easily push 800+ yards, 10+ touchdowns on the ground, and paired with solid passing numbers, he may be among the league leaders in total yards from scrimmage. At 45-1, we'll dabble.
The Colts nearly made the playoffs last season with Gardner Minshew at quarterback, a testament to both their coaching staff and their roster depth on both ends.
Should Richardson stay healthy, don't sleep on Indianapolis making another playoff push in 2024. Steichen was there in Philadelphia when Jalen Hurts took a massive leap in his second year as the starter, leading the Eagles to the Super Bowl.
We're not saying that's where the Colts are going, we're just saying that Steichen has shown an ability to get the most out of his young QBs, and we're excited about what Richardson can do.
