All signs point to the Green Bay Packers parting ways with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but where the four-time NFL MVP ends up in 2023 is anyone’s guess.
However, an anonymous NFL general manager told league insider Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post that he believes Rodgers could be reunited with former top receiver Davante Adams in Las Vegas.
“If Brady is in San Francisco, then I think Rodgers goes to Vegas,” the GM told La Canfora. “I don’t see him in New York with the Jets. This would reunite Rodgers with top receiver Davante Adams in an offense loaded with weapons. The Raiders want to make a splash, and they could put the franchise tag on Josh Jacobs, the NFL’s leading rusher, and focus on bolstering their defense. At this point, I doubt it would take more than a mid-round pick to get Rodgers.”

The Raiders have the third-best odds of any team that’s not Green Bay to land Rodgers (+575 with a 14.8 percent implied probability), according to Bookies.com. The New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are the only teams listed ahead of the Raiders.
Rodgers had arguably his worst non-injury shortened season in 2022, throwing for 3,695 yards, 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions with a passer rating of 91.1. It was his fewest passing yards, and the second-fewest touchdowns and second-most interceptions he’s thrown in a season which he started 15 or more games.
If Rodgers lands in Las Vegas, he would find himself in pretty solid situation offensively. Jacobs led the NFL with 1,653 yards rushing, and his 12 touchdowns were tied for fifth-most.
He would also be reunited with Adams—the duo connected 669 times for 8,121 yards and 73 touchdowns in eight seasons together in Green Bay. Adams ranked second in the NFL in targets (180), third in receiving yards (1,516) and ninth in receptions (100).
Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller would also be instant upgrades over Green Bay’s No. 2 receiver and No. 1 tight end.
