NFL in Disbelief Over Aaron Rodgers' Pass on Thursday

Aaron Rodgers might be 41 years old, but his arm talent is still elite and remains a dangerous weapon on the football field. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback showed that once again during their showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday.

The Steelers lost the game 33-31, with Rodgers finishing with 249 yards and four touchdowns on 23-of-34 pass completion. He was intercepted twice, as the Bengals leaned on Joe Flacco's three-touchdown game to counter whatever Rodgers threw at them.

Despite the result, which saw the Steelers drop to 4-2 on the season, Rodgers definitely impressed and entertained the fans at Paycor Stadium.

Late in the fourth quarter, with the Steelers trailing 30-24, Rodgers threw a 68-yard touchdown pass to Pat Freiermuth to put Pittsburgh ahead. The level of accuracy for such long throws made Rodgers so popular in the past, and he continues to show that he still got it.

Even the NFL couldn't help but be in awe of what Rodgers just pulled off, writing: "AARON RODGERS YOU'RE KIDDING."

While it ended in a loss for the Steelers, it certainly wasn't because Rodgers didn't try enough. In fact, he almost pulled off another wild long pass as time expired, after the Bengals took the lead off a field goal.

Unfortunately, his pass deep down the left field was deflected by Bengals cornerback D.J. Ivey, allowing Cincinnati to secure the "Thursday Night Football" victory.

Pittsburgh will have a chance to bounce back in Week 8 when they play Rodgers' former team, the Green Bay Packers. Sure enough, it will be interesting to see the four-time MVP host the Packers on his new stomping ground.

Perhaps fans will be able to see Rodgers pull off his trademark big passes as the Steelers look to remain on top of the AFC North.
