For whatever reason, the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to make every move outside of signing T.J. Watt.
A lot of the moves, including Monday's blockbuster trade, have bettered the team.
But it's clear that Watt is feeling left out, and that seems to have other teams calling...
Sources: In recent weeks, multiple teams have been discussing whether they can trade for Steelers’ standout T.J. Watt, who skipped the team’s most recent minicamp. Pittsburgh hasn’t shown any willingness to deal Watt so far, but he’s unhappy with his contractual situation and sources believe outside team interest is likely to increase given today’s trade. Steelers have been adamant they want T.J. Watt to finish his career in Pittsburgh.

Look, I'm sure teams are calling the Steelers. They just saw Pittsburgh trade one of their best players. The heart and soul of their secondary. A player who for four years was at the top his game as the best safety in the NFL, and they wonder if Pittsburgh is making even bigger changes.
But all of these additions: DK Metcalf, Aaron Rodgers, Darius Slay, Jalen Ramsey, Jonnu Smith, aren't being brought in just for the team to go and trade their best player. Watt might want more money, but what neither he nor the Steelers wants is to end their relationship.
The Steelers have no intention of trading star pass rusher T.J. Watt and their focus remains on extending Watt’s contract, per sources. Watt, who turns 31 in October, is due $21.05 million in the last year of his current deal. The Steelers have been loading up on veterans this offseason, acquiring Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf, Jonnu Smith, Darius Slay and Jalen Ramsey, among others. They're all-in on 2025 and that plan includes T.J. Watt.

So call away. Any team outside of the AFC North would be right to try and trade for Watt. But let's not pretend that the Steelers are actively shopping him or looking to move on from the face of their franchise.
