NFL Insider Drops Bombshell Report On Philadelphia Eagles’ AJ Brown
Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles enter the NFL offseason with quite a few questions that need to be answered. One of the biggest has to do with the future of star wide receiver AJ Brown.

It has been reported numerous times this year that Brown has been completely disconnected from the Eagles. Some rumors have even suggested that the franchise could look to trade him this offseason.

While those reports have caught the eyes of many, it appears that the Eagles may not agree with them.

According to a report from NFL insider Benjamin Allbright, the Eagles have no interest in trading Brown. Honestly, they shouldn’t have any interest in trading him. Allbright revealed what one team source has told him about the situation.

“We’re not trading AJ Brown. We haven’t looked into it, we haven’t discussed it. We are not trading him. You can print that.”

Brown is coming off of yet another big season for the Eagles in 2023. He racked up 106 receptions for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns. Those numbers show why Philadelphia should not move him.

Granted, there was disconnect between almost the entire Eagles’ team in 2023. The late-season collapse was embarrassing and brutal. But, the future is still bright for the team.

At 26 years of age, AJ Brown is in the prime of his career. The Philadelphia Eagles will have him for quite a few more years if they play their cards right. Also, the Eagles were literally in the Super Bowl one year ago.

There is no need for panic moves this offseason. Trading Brown would be the biggest panic move of all. Ideally, this report is accurate and the Eagles will hold onto their star wideout for the 2024 season.
