NFL insider reveals Raiders are one of the few teams remaining interested in star player
Jamie Sabau-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders are in the market for a quarterback, but not just any quarterback - one that can change an entire franchise. Now, whether they do that through the NFL draft or via trade is still something we have to wait on.

With the No. 13 pick in the draft and the top three picks of the draft looking to be quarterbacks, it's looking like it will be hard to get one of the better guys in the draft at the position.

So, there is always trading for their guy. The one player that everyone has in mind is Justin Fields, the Chicago Bears' current quarterback, who is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the league. The Bears are sitting at No. 1 in the draft, where they will likely draft Caleb Williams, so what do they do with Fields?

According to Adam Schefter, the Las Vegas Raiders are one of two teams who are still interested in trading for Fields, with the Pittsburgh Steelers as the other team.

It's looking like it could be a real possibility the Raiders at least try and pursue Fields, who is still only 24 years old, which is almost the same age as Michael Penix, the other quarterback in the draft a lot of Raiders fans want the team to draft.

Fields still have a ton of untapped potential and would instantly be the most talented quarterback the Raiders have had in some time.
