NFL International Games 2025 and the Buccaneers Global History

The NFL has announced its most ambitious international game schedule to date: seven regular-season games in five countries , including historic debuts in Madrid, Berlin, and Dublin. In this article, we’ll cover all the details of the 2025 NFL International Games and review the  Tampa Bay Buccaneers  ‘ complete history outside the United States, from London to Munich.

This schedule marks a new milestone in the NFL’s global expansion, with the debut of three new European venues: Spain, Germany, and Ireland . It will also be the first regular-season game in South America , with the opening game in São Paulo.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers in international matches

The Buccaneers have played four regular-season international games : three in London and one in Germany. Below, we review each of them:

Will the Bucs return abroad soon?

With the NFL committed to hosting at least four international games per season and an expanded 17-game schedule, all signs point to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers soon returning to the Atlantic . Their growing fan base in Europe and Latin America, coupled with their experience in London and Munich, makes them an ideal franchise for future global encounters.
