Michael Strahan became one of the best defenders the NFL has ever seen during his time with the New York Giants, winning a Super Bowl and Defensive Player of the Year during his 15-year career. Shortly after his playing career, Strahan went into the TV world, joining Fox as a studio analyst for “Fox NFL Sunday,” where he remains today alongside Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and Rob Gronkowski.
But Strahan has built a solid portfolio away from football as well. The former defensive end owns his own lifestyle and clothing line called Michael Strahan Brand. He even strengthened his television career by becoming a full-time co-host of the popular morning show “Good Morning America.”
And in 2011, Strahan, alongside Constance Schwartz-Morini, founded the sports, media and culture brand SMAC Entertainment, which functions as both a talent management company and a content production firm.
SMAC is responsible for numerous docuseries and documentaries such as “Coach Prime and Evolution of the Black Quarterback” and “BS High.” But this week, in partnership with AMP Media, SMAC Entertainment launched its first podcast network called The Intersection, which will feature a new podcast called “Hustle Like You’re Broke,” hosted by Strahan and Schwartz-Morini.
“I’m Michael Strahan, and I’m Constance Schwartz-Morini,” the two co-hosts said. “We’re excited to launch our new podcast ‘Hustle Like You’re Broke.’ ‘Hustle Like You’re Broke’ will bring real conversations with the biggest names in sports, business, entertainment and culture. Subscribe to ‘Hustle Like You’re Broke on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.”
The first episode of Strahan and Schwartz-Morini’s podcast will be released on Sept. 23, with new episodes coming out each Wednesday. Some of the confirmed podcast guests include former New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia and his wife Amber, as well as Gillie and Wallo of “Million Dollaz Worth of Game.”
“Hustle Like You’re Broke is a podcast about the relentless drive behind lasting success across a wide range of fields!” Hustle Like You’re Broke Podcast wrote on Instagram. “Hosted by Hall of Famer and media icon Michael Strahan alongside his longtime business partner and visionary entrepreneur Constance Schwartz-Morini
“Behind each success story, there is someone offering support, guidance, advocacy, and so much more. Each episode is a deep-dive into a different success story and the relationship (or partnership) that has helped drive that success ”
Strahan will return for the first “Fox NFL Sunday” episode of the 2026 season on Sunday at noon ET.
