NFL icon Tom Brady has been keeping a close eye on the Chicago Bears this season. Now that he’s retired, the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback has signed on as Fox Sports’ top NFL analyst. Brady is currently under contract with the network, having signed a 10-year, $375 million deal in 2022.
On Sunday, the 48-year-old announced the winners of his LFG Awards for Fox Sports. With the annual NFL Honors still four days away, Brady decided to preempt the prestigious awards show with his own set of winners.
One of the winners on Brady’s list is Bears cornerback Nahshon Wright. The 27-year-old clearly left quite an impression on Brady in his first season in Chicago.
The Bears signed Wright in the offseason on a one-year, $1.1 million deal. The former Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings player proved throughout the campaign that he’s worth much more than what the Bears are paying him.
Wright played all 17 games during the regular season (16 starts). He registered five interceptions for 118 yards and one touchdown. Wright also recorded 11 passes defended, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. The Bears CB produced 80 combined tackles (54 solo), three tackles for loss and one quarterback hit.
Brady expressed just how impressed he was with Wright in 2025.
“He had a tremendous season,” the NFL legend stated. “He was an absolute turnover machine. The Bears, they didn’t do a great job between the 20s. The ball was moved a lot. But when it came to turning the ball over, they were better than every team in the league and he was a huge reason why.
“He was intercepting passes, strip sacks, fumbles, fumble recoveries … what I saw with my eyes is that best value player in the year.”
“You’ve earned yourself quite a contract in the future.”

The Bears clearly got much more value for Wright this past season, which is why Brady is adamant that the former Oregon Ducks standout is in line for a big-money extension this offseason.
“Congratulations, you’ve earned yourself quite a contract in the future,” Brady continued. “And shoutout Nashon Wright’s agent, you’re going to do pretty well, too.”
