The Kansas City Chiefs improved to 6-5 on the season following their incredible win against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Kansas City was trailing Indianapolis 20-9 entering the fourth quarter, but Patrick Mahomes rallied his team back and forced overtime before clinching a 23-20 victory. Mahomes' 30-yard, third-down pass to Xavier Worthy in overtime allowed the Chiefs to get into field goal range and set up Harrison Butker's game-winning kick.

With the win, the Chiefs managed to stay in the playoff hunt instead of dropping two games behind the final Wild Card spot in the AFC.

The victory also convinced NFL legend Tom Brady to put Mahomes and company higher in his Week 12 power rankings. The Chiefs dropped to 10th in the New England Patriots icon's rankings after their loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 11, but this time, they moved up to eighth.

For what it's worth, Brady has never lost faith in the Chiefs. While he had every reason to remove the team from his top 10 after back-to-back losses in the past couple of weeks, the NFL icon insisted that the Mahomes-led squad is as dangerous as ever.

"If you're going to comment about the Chiefs being in the top 10, I want you to do something real quick: close your eyes and visualize. It's January. It's cold out. Patrick Mahomes has the ball with five minutes left. How do you think that story is going to end?" Brady said in his Week 11 rankings.

"They're just a cheat code for power rankings. If we're being honest, you're lucky they're not higher."

It remains to be seen if the Chiefs will be able to maintain their momentum as they enter the final stretch of the 2025 season. There's no room for mistakes for Andy Reid's men considering their record.

The Chiefs play the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13 on Thursday for their Thanksgiving showdown. After that, Kansas City faces the Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee Titans , Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders.
