Tom Brady became one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history during his time with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers , winning a record seven Super Bowls during his 23-year career. Now, Brady has taken his talents to the booth, working with Fox Sports' lead team alongside Kevin Burkhardt and Erin Andrews.
But Brady is not just a commentator, having branched into several ventures away from football. Following Super Bowl LIX, a game he called, Brady purchased a 50% stake in CardVault by Tom Brady, which was founded by Chris Costa. The sports card and collectibles chain now has 10 locations, four of which opened during the 2025 NFL season, most recently at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Brady has spoken about what CardVault means to him and why this project is a personal passion that goes beyond business.
“Sports collectibles and cards have been part of my DNA since childhood, and CardVault has set the gold standard for what a modern fan experience should be,” Brady said in a statement. “This isn’t just about buying and selling cards; it’s about curating history, building community, turning fans into collectors and giving them access to their own great moments in sports.”
And on Monday, CardVault by Tom Brady revealed that its 11th location will open in Sacramento, the first of three planned locations in California, with the other two slated for the San Francisco area. The Sacramento location is set to open in January 2026 and will be located just outside the Golden One Center, home of the Sacramento Kings.
"Today we have a very special announcement," Costa said. "We are announcing our first California location. CardVault by Tom Brady is proud and excited to announce that we will be coming to Sacramento. Yes, the capital of California... And we're going to be doing it very, very soon here. Very, very soon. January 2026...
"Where in Sacramento? Well, I'm sure some of you have already guessed it, but we will be right at the entrance at the foot of the Golden One Center, home of the Sacramento Kings. And we will be situated right in the beautiful shopping center of DOCO."
While Brady awaits his newest CardVault by Tom Brady location, he will be back in the booth when the Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET, the final week of the regular season.
