Tom Brady became one of the greatest players the NFL has ever seen during his 23 years with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But following his playing career, the seven-time Super Bowl champion signed a massive deal with Fox Sports, joining the lead broadcast team alongside Erin Andrews and Kevin Burkhardt.
But Brady has done much more than call games since retiring from the NFL. He has become a part-owner of several sports franchises, including the Las Vegas Raiders, the Las Vegas Aces, and Birmingham City FC in England. Following Super Bowl LIX, a game he called, Brady purchased a 50% stake in the sports card retailer CardVault, which has since been rebranded as CardVault by Tom Brady.
CardVault by Tom Brady currently has eight locations open across the United States, including Dallas, New York City, Chicago, Boston, East Hampton (New York), East Rutherford (New Jersey), Mashantucket (Connecticut) and Foxborough (Massachusetts). However, the former NFL quarterback has five more locations coming at the Mall of America (Minnesota), Las Vegas, Sacramento and two in the San Francisco area.
And on Tuesday, it was announced that the ninth CardVault by Tom Brady location will open Sunday at 6 p.m. ET (5 p.m. CT) at Mall of America, with Brady expected to be in attendance.
"Today's a big one because we are announcing our ninth CardVault by Tom Brady location," CardVault by Tom Brady co-founder Chris Costa said. "We will be bringing the CardVault by Tom Brady brand to, that's right, the Mall of America. We're very excited to bring CardVault by Tom Brady to the great state of Minnesota and you might be asking, 'Hey, when's the opening?' Well that's a great question. How about this Sunday, November 16."
Brady also shared the announcement on his Instagram Story, commenting, "We need to get @itschrisccosta some PR training @cardvaultbytombrady is coming to Minnesota! See you Sunday night ."
Conveniently enough, Brady will already be in Minnesota as Fox Sports has assigned his team to the Week 11 matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears, which begins on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET (noon CT), just four hours before the grand opening.
