Tom Brady established himself as one of the greatest players in NFL history during his 23-year career with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers , winning a record seven Super Bowls along with three NFL MVP awards. Following his retirement in 2023, the former quarterback has remained close to the sport, joining Fox Sports’ lead broadcast team alongside play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporter Erin Andrews.

But Brady has expanded his portfolio during his illustrious football career, even purchasing stakes in professional teams such as the Las Vegas Raiders, the Las Vegas Aces and Birmingham FC in England. He also made a major investment in a sports cards and collectibles chain, which has been a personal interest of his, noting that “sports collectibles and cards have been part of his DNA since childhood.”

Shortly after calling Super Bowl LIX between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, Brady purchased a 50% stake in CardVault, which is now known as CardVault by Tom Brady. At the time of his investment, the company had six locations across the United States, including Chicago, Boston, Foxborough (Massachusetts), Mashantucket (Connecticut), East Rutherford (New Jersey) and East Hampton (New York).

Since becoming a co-owner alongside founder Chris Costa in February 2025, Brady has helped spearhead the expansion of CardVault by Tom Brady, opening eight new locations and bringing the total to 14 stores. These include major sports destinations such as San Francisco, Dallas, the Mall of America (Minnesota), Sacramento, Las Vegas, two in New York City and St. Louis, which is set to open in April.

But Brady wasn’t done there. On Tuesday, it was announced that he is expanding CardVault by Tom Brady once again, this time to three new locations, which will bring the total number of stores to 17. The new locations are in major sports cities, including Austin, Los Angeles and Kansas City.

"Let's announce our next three locations," Costa said. "Three locations coming right up for you guys and I'm going to cut to the chase... CardVault by Tom Brady is coming to Austin, Texas. Los Angeles, California. And Kansas City, Missouri... We're so excited to be coming to these three very iconic cities. We're so excited to be announcing three very special stores at once here from BMO Stadium."

While Brady continues his CardVault by Tom Brady expansion, he will also be getting ready for his third season with Fox in 2026, signing a 10-year, $375 million deal with the network in 2024.
