Tom Brady’s life after football hasn’t exactly been quiet. The seven-time Super Bowl champion built a career defined by relentless discipline and an unmatched drive to compete. Now in retirement, Brady has redirected the same passion toward new priorities that extend into his personal life and beyond the football field.
Over the past few years, the NFL legend’s schedule has evolved dramatically. From spending 23 seasons traveling with the Patriots and Buccaneers to launching new ventures and working closely with Fox, Brady has remained busy. In the recent edition of his newsletter '199', he revealed that his real goal is finding balance between work and personal life.
“A lot has happened in my life over the last three years, since I retired from football,” Brady wrote. “I started a new career, some new partnerships and business ventures. I’m trying to rebuild my body after the physical toll 23 years in the NFL took on it.” The 48-year-old also emphasized being “super committed” to his kids as they navigate different phases of their teenage years.
Brady added, “My goal is balance. My list of things to learn and work on is part of achieving that goal. They recharge my social battery. They stimulate my head and my heart and my body.” While some might expect him to ease into a quieter life, Brady insists that simply isn’t in his nature.
Brady is a father of three. His eldest son, Jack, was born during his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan. Later, Brady welcomed two more children, Benjamin and Vivian, with supermodel Gisele Bundchen during their marriage. With his children now in their teenage and pre-teen years, Brady says staying actively engaged in their lives has become a central mission.
For the 48-year-old, balance doesn’t mean slowing down. If anything, it means continuing to push himself while making sure his energy is distributed across all parts of life. Looking at his NFL career, it’s clear just how committed Brady is to achieving his goals.
