NFL Legend Chad Johnson Makes Dolphins Prediction After Bills Loss

The Miami Dolphins held their own against the Buffalo Bills on "Thursday Night Football." Going into halftime, the score was tied at 14, and it appeared that Miami may have finally turned a corner.

However, in the second half, the Bills showed why they're true Super Bowl contenders, winning 31-21 and giving the Dolphins an 0-3 record.

It's a disappointing start to the season, but the Dolphins still have several believers, including former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson, who was born in Miami.

The six-time Pro Bowler and two-time First-Team All-Pro selectee made it clear he believes the Dolphins will turn things around with a Week 4 matchup against the New York Jets.

"Dolphins-Jets on the 29th, I can almost guarantee we will win this game, many great things to build off of in yesterday’s loss & correctable mistakes that won’t happen again," Johnson said via an X post.

Of course, the Jets have struggled just as much as the Dolphins, sitting with an 0-2 record with losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Bills.

The Jets' Week 3 matchup is no cakewalk, going against the 2-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. ESPN BET places the Jets as 6.5-point underdogs.

That means there's a real possibility both Miami and New York go into their "Monday Night Football" matchup looking for their first win of the season.

For the Dolphins' sake, they must hope Johnson's prediction is correct, as head coach Mike McDaniel is presumed to be on the hot seat due to their early struggles.

However, before Thursday's loss to the Bills, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that "Stephen Ross, the Dolphins owner, does not want to fire Mike McDaniel."

A Week 4 win over the Jets would certainly help the head coach's case and be a spot-on prediction from Johnson.
