The San Francisco 49ers entered Week 7 with quarterback Brock Purdy still out with an injury.

Mac Jones got the start again, and the 49ers defeated the Atlanta Falcons, 20-10, on "Sunday Night Football."

The 49ers moved to 4-2 with the win, and running back Christian McCaffrey did it all for Kyle Shanahan's team.

McCaffrey had 24 carries for 129 yards and a pair of touchdowns and he also led the team with seven receptions for 72 yards on eight targets.

It was yet another vintage performance from the 2017 No. 8 overall pick, who is in his fourth season in San Francisco.

McCaffrey passed NFL legends Priest Holmes and Marshall Faulk in the record books.

"Christian McCaffrey has 100+ rushing yards and 70+ receiving yards for the 7th time in his career, breaking a tie with HOF Marshall Faulk and Priest Holmes for the most such games in NFL history."

Surprisingly, it was the first 100-yard rushing game of the season for McCaffrey.

Entering Week 7, he had just 336 yards with one touchdown on the ground all season long.

It was also McCaffrey's first 100-yard rushing game in 1,009 days, with the last one coming on Christmas Day in 2023 against the Baltimore Ravens.

The 49ers' star RB played just four games last season due to injuries, but he has looked every bit like a Pro Bowl RB so far this season.

The 49ers face the Houston Texans in Week 8.
