Cam Skattebo has emerged onto the scene as one of the most electric running backs in the NFL, currently playing in his rookie season with the New York Giants.
Skattebo took over the top running back role with the Giants over the past few weeks and has since been a star on offense for head coach Brian Daboll.
However, despite all the hype around Skattebo, the Giants recently suffered a brutal hit ahead of a matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8 of the NFL season.
On Friday, the NFL announced that Cam Skattebo has been fined $15,000 for conduct detrimental to the league.
Skattebo was a part of Jaxson Dart's concussion protocol incident that took place in Week 6 against the Eagles. Dart was being checked for a concussion in the blue medical tent, and Skattebo jumped into the mix with Daboll, interfering with the quarterback's exam.
For that, the NFL has fined Skattebo with a five-figure hit during his rookie season.
The NFL fined the #Giants $200,000 for violating concussion protocol with Jaxson Dart. Separately, the NFL fined Coach Brian Daboll $100,000 and RB Cam Skattebo $15,000 for conduct detrimental to the league.
