Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua avoided a hefty fine after an illegal blindside block on Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Michael Carter II.

The NFL’s Week 4 accountability report was released Saturday, and Nacua can breathe a sigh of relief that his name wasn’t on the list.

The league decided not to fine the 25-year-old for his personal foul, which was flagged during Los Angeles’ 24-20 win against Philadelphia on Oct. 4.

With 33 seconds left in the third quarter, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford handed the ball to Kyren Williams for a seven-yard gain. But Nacua’s block on Carter was deemed illegal and ultimately nullified the play.

Under the NFL rules, an illegal blindside block is defined as “a player initiates a block when his path is toward or parallel to his own end line and makes forcible contact with his opponent with his helmet, forearm, or shoulder.”

With his name being left out of the accountability report, Nacua avoided a hefty $17,911 fine for an illegal blindside block, under the 2026 NFL fines schedule.

Nacua’s teammate Nate Landman, however, was fined $11,111 for unnecessary roughness for a foul against Philadelphia wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks at the 8:36 mark of the second quarter.

Despite the in-game incident, the two-time Pro Bowler still played a key role in the Rams’ comeback win. Nacua finished with nine catches for 125 receiving yards and one rushing touchdown.

This win improved the Rams’ record to 2-2. They host the Buffalo Bills on Monday night at SoFi Stadium.
