No prospect in this year's draft class has seen their stock undergo as much change as Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart. Once regarded as a day-two pick, the former Rebel is now expected to be a first-rounder and could go as high as the top 10 on draft night, according to multiple league sources.
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place at Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, from April 24 to 26. The league is trying to limit the amount of on-site players to prevent an embarrassing moment if someone falls in the draft, but the NFL announced on Monday evening that Dart was one of 17 prospects slated to be in attendance.
Dart is coming off of an impressive senior campaign under head coach Lane Kiffin, completing 69.3% of his passes for 4,279 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also exhibited his dual-threat ability, rushing for 495 yards and three touchdowns in his final season as a Rebel.
His being in attendance for the NFL Draft is essentially a guarantee that he'll be off the board by the end of the first round. Several teams have been linked to the young quarterback, mostly the New Orleans Saints, who have the No. 9 pick, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, who hold pick No. 21.
