Lamar Jackson was finally back in action on Thursday night as the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Miami Dolphins, 28-6. The Ravens did not have the services of the two-time AP MVP for three straight games due to a right hamstring strain, but Jackson was finally able to make his long-awaited return on “Thursday Night Football.”
Jackson was incredible in his comeback, registering 18-of-23 passes for 204 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions. He also had five carries for an additional 14 rushing yards. Thanks in large part to the 28-year-old's strong performance in his return, Baltimore was able to secure its second straight win and improve to 3-5 on the season.

The Ravens went 1-2 without their star quarterback in the mix. They suffered back-to-back losses to the Houston Texans and the Los Angeles Rams in Weeks 5 and 6. Baltimore’s offense was out of sorts in both games, scoring a total of just 13 points in two contests.
The Ravens got back to winning ways on Sunday with a 30-16 victory over the Chicago Bears, and they’ve now secured a win again on Thursday in Jackson’s return.
After the game, the NFL took to social media to make an announcement about Jackson’s performance on the evening.
“Lamar Jackson has 6 games with 4+ passing TDs and 5 or fewer incompletions (the most in NFL history),” NFL+, the league’s official streaming service, posted on X.

Jackson had no interceptions against the Dolphins on Thursday night. He had just five incomplete passes out of 23 attempts. It was another incredibly efficient performance from the former Louisville Cardinals star, and he’s now rewritten NFL history after Thursday’s outing.
Jackson and Co. will be back in action on Nov. 9 for a Week 10 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. It’s a road game for the Ravens, who will travel to U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Kickoff is scheduled at 1:00 p.m. ET.
