The Kansas City Chiefs delivered their best performance of the season in Week 4, dominating the Baltimore Ravens 37-20 to improve to 2-2.

While their defense has been relatively consistent through the first four weeks, the offense had struggled—until last Sunday, when everything clicked behind three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The return of wide receiver Xavier Worthy, the continued emergence of WR Tyquan Thornton in the offense, and a more productive run game featuring Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco all contributed to the Chiefs’ dominant performance against a depleted Ravens defense.

Mahomes completed 67.6% of his passes for 270 yards, four touchdowns, and a 124.8 passer rating, earning him AFC Player of the Week honors, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Patrick Mahomes had a historic outing, becoming both the youngest and fastest player in NFL history to reach 250 career touchdown passes after throwing his second touchdown of the day in the second quarter.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid praised the achievement, even as Mahomes downplayed it in his postgame interview.

“It’s phenomenal. That’s incredible,” Reid said. “Whatever you write good about him, he deserves it, man. Let me tell you, you can give him everything. He’s a joker. It’s unbelievable. We are lucky to have him.”

The Chiefs are now riding a two-game winning streak and will carry that momentum into Week 5, when they hit the road for a primetime "Monday Night Football" matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After that game, Kansas City will enjoy three consecutive home games at Arrowhead Stadium before traveling to Buffalo on Nov. 2 for a highly anticipated clash with the Bills.
