Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown played in his first game of the 2025 season on "Monday Night Football" in Week 11 against the Las Vegas Raiders. In December of last season against the Cincinnati Bengals, Overshown went down with a severe knee injury that ended his rookie season prematurely.

He was diagnosed with a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee the day after that game, and on Monday, he made his return to NFL action.

Overshown didn't light up the stat sheet in the Cowboys' 33-16 victory over the Raiders, as he totaled just one tackle on the night.

While it wasn't the most flashy game for Overshown on Monday, he showed his incredible abilities as a rookie last year. In 13 games during the 2024 season, the former third-round pick accumulated 90 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, five sacks, four pass breakups and one interception, which he returned for a touchdown.

Although he only had one official tackle in the Raiders game, the 25-year-old was involved in another play as well.

With 1:04 remaining in the second quarter, Overshown appeared to push Raheem Mostert after he had already run out of bounds. He was not penalized for a late hit at the time of the incident.

Despite not drawing a flag on Monday, Overshown was punished by the NFL on Saturday for the hit. He was fined $8,166 for the unnecessary roughness, according to the league's website.

This marks the first fine Overshown has been handed since joining the Cowboys in 2024.

He will look to make a bigger impact on Sunday when the Cowboys take on the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles at 4:25 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium on Fox.
