The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting ready to play the Miami Dolphins in primetime, led by head coach Mike Tomlin.
The long-time Steelers coach is looking to lead the Steelers to the postseason behind quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The 42-year-old quarterback has been able to fill a void the Steelers have been missing for quite some time, bringing confidence in the pass game, but Pittsburgh is still fighting for a playoff spot late in the season.
As the Steelers prepare for a matchup against the Dolphins on "Monday Night Football," the NFL gameday operations announced final decisions on fines from across the league.
Rodgers was involved in a controversial incident during the Steelers' last game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Rodgers connected on a 9-yard pass with running back Kenneth Gainwell. This was followed by a face mask penalty from Ravens safety Alohi Gilman.
The face mask penalty benefited the Steelers as Pittsburgh accepted the infraction during the play involving Gainwell, Rodgers and Gilman.
After the NFL gameday operations announced the fines from the previous week, Gilman dodged a fine from the league office.
Rodgers is looking to help Tomlin keep his streak alive when it comes to playing at home on "Monday Night Football." Under Tomlin, the Steelers have won 22 straight homes games on "Monday Night Football," an NFL record.
In his first season with the Steelers, Rodgers has completed 65.4 percent of his passes for 2,370, 20 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
