Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has been incredible early in his NFL career. Now in his sixth season in the league, Herbert has completed 66.5% of his passes for 23,784 yards and 156 touchdowns with 54 interceptions. He has also rushed for 1,562 yards and 14 scores.
So far in 2025, the Chargers are 7-4 and currently sit in second place in the AFC West. Herbert has seen both success and challenges this year. He has averaged 244.6 passing yards per game with 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions through 11 games.
Some of Herbert's troubles this season have come from being under pressure on many occasions.
Herbert has already been sacked 35 times this season, which is the third most in his career, and the Chargers still have six more regular-season games to play.
The 27-year-old really struggled in Sunday's 35-6 blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was sacked twice in this game and once more that didn't show up in the stat sheet. With less than one minute left in the second quarter, Herbert was taken down hard by defensive end B.J. Green II.
Green was penalized for roughing the passer at the time of the play, giving Herbert and the Chargers an automatic first down.

Roughing the passer penalties can carry a fine of $17,389 on the player's first offense and $23,186 on the second offense. However, when the NFL announced its fines for Week 11 on Saturday, Green's name was not listed. He avoided any additional punishment for the penalty.
After Herbert's rough outing against Green and the Jaguars, the Chargers have a bye this week before looking to get back on track against the Las Vegas Raiders on Nov. 30.
