The Indianapolis Colts and the San Francisco 49ers faced off in Week 16 of the NFL season.
It was a Monday Night Football matchup with playoff implications on both sides.
The Colts entered with an 8-6 record, having lost four straight after previously holding the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and now on the outside looking in.
As for the 49ers, they entered the game at 10-4 and fighting for the top spot in the NFC West and the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC.
Lots of points were scored on Monday night, and it was the 49ers who came out on top 48-27.
But in the third quarter, Colts running back Jonathan Taylor took a carry for no gain.
Taylor was already ruled down by contact but was on both feet, being held by 49ers linebacker Tatum Bethune.
That's when 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir came in with a punch to the football because he thought Taylor was still not down.
Lenoir was then flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play.
On Saturday, the NFL revealed the fines for Week 16 and hit Lenoir with one for $11,593.
