NFL media personality Rich Eisen predicts Chiefs' 2025 record, gets ribbed for being influenced by Eric Stonestreet

Not many experts have made their 2025 record predictions for the Kansas City Chiefs yet.

A large portion of the national media doesn't know what to expect from the Chiefs this upcoming season. After getting shellacked by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, it' natural to wonder if that was the beginning of a decline for the Kansas City dynasty.

However, don't put NFL media personality Rich Eisen in that category. Eisen stepped up to the plate and predicted each game on K.C.'s 2025 schedule, and he is definitely not buying a drop-off for the Chiefs, as he anticipates them going 15-2 for the second straight season.

"Until I see otherwise, I'm going to assume the Chiefs are going to be as good, as well coached, as youthful as ever," Eisen said. It's the same [Patrick] Mahomes, it's the same [Andy] Reid, and I think [Travis] Kelce is going to have a renaissance season. And until I see different, that's the way I'm feeling."

Later Eisen was joined by NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah, who ribbed Eisen for being influenced by actor and known Chiefs fan Eric Stonestreet.

"A very close friend of Rich's, Eric Stonestreet, big Chiefs fan, if you've paid attention and you've watched Instagram ads over the summer, you know Eric Stonestreet has a plum deal with Norwegian Cruise Line," Jeremiah said. "Then if you also were to take in Rich and his complexion right now, you'll notice a little bit of a bronze tan that he has working right now. I don't know where Rich has been, it looks like maybe overseas on a nice trip. Was that a free Norwegian Cruise that he got from Stonestreet? And now we have the 15-2 Kansas City Chiefs."

Eisen denied Jeremiah's claim, but of course it was all in good fun. Jeremiah then went on to give his record prediction for the Chiefs in 2025.

"I'm looking at that schedule, and I'm looking at the Baltimore Ravens, that is a really good football team," Jeremiah said. "I'm looking at, I'm not saying they're going to lose all these games, but when you look on there and you see Baltimore, and you see Detroit [Lions], and you see Buffalo [Bills], and two games with Denver [Broncos], and the [Los Angeles] Chargers always play them tough. You're going to go play on Thanksgiving and on Christmas, those are short weeks. Look, they're going to be a playoff team. They're going to be a 12-plus win team. I couldn't get to 15-2, so I would be more like a 12-5."

Whether the Chiefs finish closer to Eisen's or Jeremiah's prediction, it's still agreed upon that they're going to remain an AFC powerhouse. Two of K.C.'s three Super Bowl wins over the past six years have come when it has won 12 games (2019) and 11 games (2023) during the regular season. As we well know by now, it's all about peaking during playoff time, which the Chiefs know how to do better than anybody.
