NFL 'MNF' Week 7: Two touchdown bets for Vikings vs. 49ers

It's time for another edition of "Monday Night Football" in the NFL, which means it's time for another two-pack of anytime touchdown scorer bets from yours truly. Let's cash some plus-money plays with my two favorite TD bets for this week's "MNF" matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the San Francisco 49ers.

Jordan Mason (+175 DraftKings)

Christian McCaffrey is expected to play through an oblique injury on "Monday Night Football," but it's unclear how close to 100 percent he is or if he can handle a full workload. Odds are the 49ers go with more of a running back by committee this week, which opens the door for their reserve running backs to find the end zone.

Most would bet the main beneficiary would be Elijah Mitchell, and that's why he's +120 to score a touchdown on Monday night. But are we completely sure Mitchell will be the next man up? Mitchell returned from a two-game absence last week and saw just seven snaps, while Jordan Mason played 15 snaps and scored a touchdown on five carries.

No one knows for sure who will get San Francisco's goal-line carries against the Vikings, so let's ride the biggest price with Mason.

K.J. Osborn (+350 FanDuel)

Osborn is a tad undervalued in the anytime touchdown market for "MNF." The fourth-year wide receiver is one of Kirk Cousins' favorite weapons in the red zone, as he's tied with Jordan Addison this season for the most targets on the team inside the 10-yard line. He's only hauled in one of those targets, but it went for a touchdown in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cousins has targeted Osborn 14 times over the last two weeks with Justin Jefferson out of the lineup, and he should see a similar workload in Week 7. As 6.5-point underdogs in the game, the Vikings are likely to fall behind the 49ers early and be forced to go to the air. Osborn should see at least one red-zone opportunity in this matchup, but even if he doesn't, he's a threat to score a longer touchdown thanks to his speed.
