Football fans who don't subscribe to a cable or satellite television provider have a new way to catch NFL action this fall.
The NFL officially announced on Thursday that NFL Network and NFL RedZone are available on YouTube TV for the 2020 season scheduled to begin on Sept. 10 despite concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic. NFL Network is part of the service's base package as of Sept. 3, while NFL RedZone is included in YouTube's Sports Plus add-on.
Per 9To5Google, a subscription that includes the Sports Plus package will cost over $75 a month with fees and taxes included.
Subscribers to these plans will be able to view NFL Network and NFL RedZone through NFL.com and the NFL app. Viewers can access YouTube TV via a smart TV and connected television devices, PCs, tablets and smartphones.
As Jay Rigdon of Awful Announcing wrote, FuboTV and Vidgo were the only live TV streaming services offering RedZone heading into the week. Sling dropped RedZone in June, and PlayStation Vue, which used to include RedZone in its sports package, shut down at the end of January.
