The 2024 NFL Draft is under two months away and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially know where they are picking in all seven rounds. Well, not the fifth round, as they are without a selection, there. But you get my gist.
Because of that, the Bucs have just six picks in this year's draft. They used the 2024 fifth-rounder in last year's draft day trade with the Philadelphia Eagles that netted a 2023 sixth-rounder in return. Tampa Bay subsequently used that pick on then-rookie wide receiver, Trey Palmer, who finished his first NFL season with 39 receptions that accounted for 385 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
So, where are the Bucs picking in this year's draft?
The Bucs have drafted pretty well over the last few years, despite picking in the later portions of the draft rounds. They nailed last year's 19th overall selection of Calijah Kancey and have hit on other players such as Cade Otton, Rachaad White, Luke Goedeke, Cody Mauch, and YaYa Diaby.
Jason Licht and co. will have to work their magic, again, in 2024. They should be able to do just that, simply considering the overall talent in the first two rounds.
