Davante Adams had a phenomenal performance in Week 15, helping the New York Jets take down the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Adams made nine receptions for 198 yards and two touchdowns to power the Jets to a 32-25 victory over the lowly Jaguars on Sunday. It's Adams' best game so far after his midseason trade to New York following two-plus seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders.

In a Tuesday post on Instagram, the NFL highlighted Adams' big performance while naming him the winner of the "Gameball of the Week."

"Davante was a machine in Week 15," the NFL wrote along with a photo that features Adams' stats from the showdown with the Jaguars.

The NFL's praise for Adams didn't end there, though. On Wednesday, the league and the NFL Legacy social media account shared another post about the Jets wideout and what he accomplished with his latest performance.

Adams also made history by becoming just the 12th player ever to have 100 receiving touchdowns. A huge chunk of those receiving TDs came with the help of Aaron Rodgers, who played with Adams during his eight-year stint with the Green Bay Packers and now in 2024 with the Jets.

Adams has recorded 73 receiving touchdowns with the Packers, 23 with the Raiders and five with the Jets so far.

With Adams just 31 years old and plenty of football left in him, it will be interesting to see how many more receiving touchdowns he gets. He's currently 10th on the all-time receiving touchdown list , behind Mike Evans (103) for the No. 9 spot and Tony Gonzalez (111) for No. 8.
