NFL Player's Last Day at Disney World With Daughter Ruined By Eagles Super Bowl

The New York Giants saw what became an increasingly abysmal 2024 season come to a familiar end with another loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, finishing up with a disastrous 3-14 record.

Since then, the rival Eagles have been playing football for a whole extra month, capping things off by winning Super Bowl LIX in dominant fashion.

If there were any way to make such a forgettable Giants season even worse, it was probably watching Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts and the Eagles defense have their way with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Sadly, however, things still surprisingly found a way to get worse for Giants tackle Jermaine Eluemunor:

"So I was going to take my daughter to the Disney parade today since it’s our last day here at Disney World. Didn’t know it was the Eagles parade also sooo guess who’s NOT going to the parade today," Eluemunor's post on X stated.

Now just imagine being an NFL player, well into their offseason groove and enjoying a nice vacation at Disney World with their daughter only to learn that the final day of the trip will include a parade to celebrate Hurts and the Eagles winning the Super Bowl.

But the 30-year-old Eluemunor did what any great dad would do and put his child's Disney wishes far ahead of his own personal disgruntlement, and attended anyway:

The idea of Eluemunor sitting through a parade with Philly fans repeatedly chanting "E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles!"—because they absolutely were—while Hurts rode atop a float and waved to the crowd makes for a pretty funny visual, regardless of whether you're familiar Eluemunor or not.

It makes it even funnier after realizing the 6-foot-4, 340-pound lineman had the nerve to post on X, "Feel like no one really cared about this Super Bowl," during the late stages of the big game when the Eagles were in clear control.

This is what some might call a cruel twist of fate, while Eagles fans might tend to lean toward calling it something like, "justice well served."

It does seem like Eluemunor was mostly having fun with the surprise visit, though, as he jokingly (we think) said in the above post that if he saw any Eagles fans climbing poles he would be reporting them.

Whatever the case may be, at least his daughter got to attend the lively parade on the family's last day at Disney World.

And, really, not all was completely lost for Eluemunor, as the chatty big fellow also shared that he had the opportunity to build his own lightsaber during his Disney stay.
