NFL preseason roundup: Saints rally late to tie Jaguars

The New Orleans Saints scored 14 second-half points to rally for a 17-17 tie against the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in the second preseason game for each team.

Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler threw a 20-yard touchdown to Dante Pettis and ran the two-point conversion in himself with 21 seconds left to level the score. Rattler, who played the second half after Tyler Shough got the first half, completed 18 of 24 passes for 199 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Pettis finished with 57 receiving yards, trailing Mason Tipton, who had a game-high 100 receiving yards for the Saints (0-1-1).

Starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence played two series for Jacksonville (0-1-1) , throwing a 7-yard touchdown to Parker Washington to end his afternoon. He completed 8 of 10 passes for 76 yards, with rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten providing 35 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Jaguars.
