The NFL preseason concluded this weekend, so let's take a look at some of the standout performers from Week 3 of the preseason schedule.
Some teams choose not to play their starters at all in the preseason, but that was not the case for Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs in their final preseason tune-up against the Chicago Bears. He gave most of his first-team offense -- including Mahomes -- a handful of series, and they looked like they are ready for the start of the regular season.
Mahomes led three scoring drives for the Chiefs, completing 8-of-13 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown.
They stayed healthy, they looked good and they will be ready for Week 1 without having much rust to shake off.
Expectations are high for the Denver Broncos going into this season, and their passing game provided some real optimism this weekend. Specifically the connection between second-year quarterback Bo Nix and veteran wide receiver Sutton.
Sutton hauled in four passes for 83 yards on Saturday, including a 19-yard touchdown. He also had a 43-yard reception as part of his day.
The Lions did not have a great day against the Texans in their preseason finale, but they did get a nice performance from rookie wide receiver Teslaa as he continued to shine. He only caught two passes, but one of them was a 33-yard touchdown to bring his preseason total to 10 catches, 146 yards and three touchdowns.
The Lions already have an offense full of playmakers and this year's third-round pick is looking like he will be a great addition to that group for head coach Dan Campbell and quarterback Jared Goff.
Cornerback depth is a bit of a concern for the Ravens, but Martin, an undrafted free agent rookie, put together a whale of a preseason to make his case for a roster spot and potential playing time.
On Saturday he recorded five tackles, including two for a loss, and had a pick-six against the Washington Commanders.

With two veteran quarterbacks (Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston) and a first-round pick that excelled all preseason (Jaxson Dart), the numbers are not looking good for Tommy DeVito with the New York Giants. But even if he does not have a spot with the Giants, he still had a chance to audition for 31 other teams around the league this weekend and he took full advantage of that, completing 17-of-20 passes for 198 yards and three touchdowns.
