Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been accused of inappropriate behavior by six massage therapists this week, allegations that now have the attention of the NFL.
The Baltimore Banner published an article on Thursday outlining the sexual misconduct allegations, which took place during his first five seasons in the NFL. Tucker strongly denied the allegations, releasing a lengthy statement on X professing his innocence and saying that he had never been accused of inappropriate behavior before.
"I have never before been accused of misconduct of any kind, and I have never been accused of acting inappropriately in front of a massage therapist or during a massage therapy session or during other bodywork," Tucker wrote. "I have never received any complaints from a massage therapist, have never been dismissed from a massage therapy or bodywork session, and have never been told that I was not welcome at any spa or other place of business."
The Ravens released a statement saying they are aware of the allegations and monitoring the manner, as is the NFL. The league released its own statement on Thursday, saying it would be investigating the matter.

"We first became aware of the allegations from the reporter investigating this story as they were not previously shared with the NFL," a league spokesperson said in a statement shared on NFL.com. "We take any allegation seriously and will look into the matter."
The league under commissioner Roger Goodell has wide latitude to punish players, including suspensions, even if there are no charges that arise.
