NFL schedule-makers show 'love' for Packers, even without Aaron Rodgers

The NFL gave a lot of love to the Green Bay Packers and their fans on Thursday morning, as all 32 teams' schedules were released.

Not only will the Packers have a whopping five prime time games on the docket (even with four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers no longer with the franchise), but the team won't play a 2022 playoff team until nearly halfway through the campaign. Other items of note include All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams taking on his former Green Bay teammates in Week 5 on "Monday Night Football" and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs traveling to Lambeau Field in Week 13 for "Sunday Night Football."

Fourth-year pro Jordan Love will get his first start in a season-opener in Week 1 when the Packers play the rival Chicago Bears on Sept. 10 on the road and the teams will close the regular season against each other in Week 18 in Green Bay.

Love met with reporters on Wednesday for the first since Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets this offseason, thus giving the 24-year-old the starting quarterback gig.

The 2020 first-round pick played in four games last season, going 14-for-21 for 195 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception. In 10 career games (one start), Love has gone 50-for-83 for 606 passing yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions.
