NFL scout makes bold prediction about 49ers QB Brock Pudry

Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers are entering the 2024 NFL season in a very strong position. At this point in time, they are favored to win all 17 of their regular season games. That is unheard of for an NFL team.

Despite how rare that feat is to accomplish, the 49ers are clearly viewed as a top-notch Super Bowl favorite once again.

After making it to the Super Bowl last season and narrowly losing to the Kansas City Chiefs, the 49ers are preparing for another run. This time, they want to get over the last hump and win the elusive championship. With Purdy leading the way, they certainly have the potential to do just that.

NFL Scout Makes Huge Bold Prediction For 49ers’ QB Brock Purdy

Over the past two years, Purdy has become one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. He has taken the league by storm and has shown no signs of slowing down.

Looking ahead to the 2024 season, one NFL scout spoke to NFL Analysis Network about the 49ers’ superstar quarterback. He did not hold back from making a huge bold prediction for Purdy.

“I think Brock Purdy will turn in his best season yet. He’s going to win the MVP award this season.”

Needless to say, it was a short and sweet prediction. It’s also a prediction that is very plausible.

During the 2023 season with the 49ers, Purdy ended up playing in 16 regular season games. He completed 69.4 percent of his pass attempts for 4,280 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Purdy also picked up 144 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

After an impressive rookie season that left some curious to see if he could replicate his success in his second year, Purdy cemented himself among the NFL’s elite at the quarterback position.

At just 24 years of age heading into to the 2024 season, Purdy still has plenty of room to grow. That’s a scary thought for opposing defenses and defensive coordinators. He has yet to reach his full potential.

The San Francisco 49ers ended up adding more weapons for Purdy this offseason with the NFL Draft selection of wide receiver Ricky Pearsall. Despite tons of rumors suggesting that Brandon Aiyuk would be traded, he remains in town as well. All of the cards are stacked in Purdy’s favor.

All of that being said, it will be interesting to see what the 2024 season has in store for Purdy. Can he take yet another leap forward in his development and improve his numbers even more? Will he end up making this prediction come true and win the MVP award?

Only time will tell, but the 49ers are a Super Bowl favorite and a lot of that has to do with the presence of their young superstar quarterback.
