The Las Vegas Raiders will play host to the New York Jets on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 10, and we can't think of a better way to close out our NFL Sunday than to watch Zach Wilson and Aidan O'Connell battle it out in a race to 17 points. Jokes aside, let's target both quarterbacks with two props for "SNF."
O'Connell went over this number in both of his previous starts this season, but the Jets defense is a different animal. The rookie quarterback was lucky enough to face the Los Angeles Chargers and the New York Giants, two of the worst pass defenses in the NFL, in his first two starts. The Jets have arguably the best secondary in the NFL, and they rank third in the league in passing yards allowed per game (174.8) this season.
The Raiders will be content with feeding Josh Jacobs in the run game and not testing this New York secondary down the field. Las Vegas doesn't need to air it out to win what should be a low-scoring game, so we're expecting a modest passing performance from O'Connell.
Wilson is regarded as a mistake-prone quarterback, but he's been much better recently at making smart decisions in the passing game and protecting the ball. The Jets quarterback has gone three straight starts without throwing an interception, and he's only thrown one pick over his last six starts.
The Raiders have eight interceptions through nine games this year, but five of them came off the arms of Jordan Love and Tommy DeVito.
