The Dallas Cowboys are getting set to host the Philadelphia Eagles on "Sunday Night Football" in a pivotal NFC East battle. With a total of 51.5, oddsmakers are expecting a ton of yards and points in this matchup, which creates some value on a few plus-money prop bets.
This Eagles defense simply can't stop CeeDee Lamb. Over his last two games against the Eagles, the Oklahoma product has racked up 27 targets, 21 receptions, 311 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He went off for 191 yards against Philly in Week 8, and the Eagles secondary has only gotten worse since then. Philadelphia has allowed an opposing wide receiver to clear 100 yards in four of its last five games.
Lamb has recorded at least 100 receiving yards in six of Dallas' 12 games this season and five of the last seven. In a must-win game for the Cowboys in their quest to steal the No. 1 seed, Lamb will be featured early and often on "SNF."
The Eagles are starting to make a habit of falling behind early in games, which has forced Jalen Hurts to air the ball out more than he usually does. Those game scripts have led to Hurts going over 1.5 passing touchdowns in four of his last six games.
The Cowboys have been dominant against bad quarterbacks this year, but Hurts, Brock Purdy, Justin Herbert and Geno Smith all threw at least two touchdowns against this defense. Philadelphia will likely need to score at least 30 points to win this game, so Hurts needs to have a big day throwing the ball.
