Von Miller's Washington Commanders did not make it to the NFL playoffs this season, but the two-time Super Bowl champion still has a lot of skin in the game.
On one side of the bracket, the Los Angeles Rams are heading into an NFC divisional round game against the Chicago Bears. Matthew Stafford and the Rams are looking to return to the Super Bowl for the first time since Miller lifted the Lombardi Trophy with them after the 2021 season.
The two teams Miller played for the longest, the Denver Broncos and the Buffalo Bills, are set to face off in the AFC divisional round on Saturday.
Miller was not able to help Josh Allen and the Bills lift their Super Bowl curse during his three seasons in Buffalo. Miller has fonder memories from his 10 years in Denver, where his Super Bowl MVP performance helped Peyton Manning win his second ring after the 2015 season.
On his "Free Range" podcast this week, Miller dubbed the Broncos-Bills game the "Von Bowl," joking that "both teams are doing way better without me."
His excitement for the game goes beyond his connection to the two franchises — Miller believes that the outcome will shape what happens in Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium in February.
"This matchup will probably be better than whatever matchup we get for the Super Bowl," Miller said. "I think whoever wins this game is going to the Super Bowl."
He solidified the Super Bowl prediction by forecasting the winner of Saturday's game in Denver.
"The 2025 Denver Broncos, they are a force to be reckoned with," said the 36-year-old linebacker. "I got the Broncos winning this game by 10 points."
Miller's prediction will be put to the test when the Broncos and the Bills kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on CBS.
The winner will advance to the AFC Championship Game next Sunday, where they will face either the New England Patriots or the Houston Texans to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.
