NFL Week 4: What we learned — Overs hit more than unders, and guess who's still unbeaten?

For the first time this season, the over hit more than the under in Week 4, and the Eagles are now the NFL's only unbeaten team thanks to a come-from-behind win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Speaking of points, three teams scored 40+ points in a week for the first time this season, and Seattle and Detroit set a season-high for most combined points.

And also for the first time this season, multiple games finished in a wash on the spread. How does the saying go again? "Good teams win, great teams cover?" Well, there is one team that's still perfect against the spread this season. But I bet you wouldn't guess who.

Eagles stand alone

Miami and Philadelphia entered Week 4 undefeated, but the Eagles are now the NFL's lone unbeaten team after beating Jacksonville, 29-21, on Sunday. Philadelphia trailed Jacksonville 14-0 after the first quarter, but outscored the Jaguars 29-0 in the second and third quarters to pick up the win. Miami's undefeated season came to an end after losing to the Cincinnati Bengals, 27-15, on Thursday night.

Undefeated against the spread

The Atlanta Falcons might only be 2-2, but they're the only team undefeated against spread after beating Cleveland on Sunday. The Falcons were (+1) on the spread prior to kickoff against the Browns, and have been underdogs in each of their first four games this season.

Chiefs streak ends

The Kansas City Chiefs streak of 26 consecutive games as favorites was snapped on Sunday as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were two-point favorites prior to kickoff. However, the Chiefs got the last laugh as they defeated the Bucs, 41-31, on Sunday night.

Overs hit more than unders for first time in Week 4

Heading into Week 4, the under had hit at a 60% rate (29/48), and hit more than the over in each of the first three weeks. However, that changed in Week 4. The over has already hit eight times this week, guaranteeing a 50/50 split at the very least.

Three teams score 40+ points

For the first time this season, three teams scored 40+ points in a game during the same week. Seattle outscored Detroit, 48-45, in the highest scoring game of the season on Sunday, and Kansas City put up 41 points in a 41-31 win on Sunday night over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what was a rematch of the Super Bowl from two years ago.

Not one, but two washes

For the first time this season, two games ended in a wash on the spread. Buffalo and Baltimore ended in a wash after the Bills defeated the Ravens, 23-20, and Minnesota vs. New Orleans finished in a wash after the Vikings held on to a 28-25 win over the Saints in London. Prior to kickoff, both the Bills and Vikings were 3-point favorites.

$15 bets out just under $11,000

One bettor made just under $11,000 on Sunday after hitting on a 13-leg parlay. The Kansas City Chiefs over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was the final leg of the 13-leg parlay that had an odds line of +73101.

Heading into Week 5

The Houston Texans remain the only winless team in the NFL after losing to the Los Angeles Chargers, 34-24, on Sunday, and in the first "international game of the season," Minnesota edged New Orleans, 28-25, in London. The Saints almost forced overtime, but Will Lutz's potential game-tying 61-yard field hit the right upright, followed by the crossbar, before falling short. Next week's international game is in Germany between the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers.
