The top fantasy performances from Week 9 won't soon be forgotten. Here's a look at the week's top surprises, disappointments, and waiver adds.

Fields had arguably his best game as a pro, throwing for 123 yards and three touchdowns, plus 15 carries for 178 yards and one score. The hope is that he's finally hit his stride as a multi-dimensional quarterback.

Surprise: Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals

Mixon's incredible game will be remembered for a while. He had 22 carries for 153 yards and four touchdowns on the ground, along with four catches for 58 yards and one receiving touchdown.

Rob Gronkowski, who? Otton led all Bucs receivers with 68 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown late in the game against the Rams. He's quickly becoming a viable fantasy option.

Surprise: Garrett Wilson, WR, Jets

Wilson was the Jets' top receiver in a shocking upset over the Bills. The rookie had eight catches for 92 yards, giving him 207 yards over his last two games.

Surprise: Jeff Wilson Jr., RB, Dolphins

Acquired at the trade deadline from San Francisco, Wilson had a very significant role in his first game with Miami. He tied Raheem Mostert with nine carries, accumulating 51 yards on the ground while also catching three balls for 21 yards and one touchdown. Wilson looks like he will maintain some value in his new home.

Disappointment: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Chiefs

The Chiefs running backs struggled against the Titans' front seven. The four-man committee gained only 14 yards, including four carries for five yards from Edwards-Helaire. He also had one catch for 14 yards.

Disappointment: D'Onta Foreman, RB, Panthers

Foreman had a brilliant Week 8, but he failed in his encore performance as the Panthers were blown out by Cincinnati. He finished the day with only seven carries for 23 yards and two catches for negative two yards.

Disappointment: Deon Jackson, RB, Colts

Jackson started again for the injured Jonathan Taylor but finished with only 11 carries for 23 yards and two catches for 13 yards against the dominant New England defense. The Colts seem likely to continue running the ball heavily, with former center Jeff Saturday taking over as head coach, but that doesn't mean Jackson will be able to get it going.

Disappointment: Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Colts

Sam Ehlinger threw for only 103 yards against the Patriots, and the Colts' receivers, including Pittman, suffered. With Ehlinger continuing as the starter, Pittman is a shaky fantasy option for the near future.

Disappointment: Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams

The nightmarish season for Stafford and the Rams' offense continues. He completed only 13-of-27 passes for 165 yards and one touchdown in a losing effort against the Buccaneers.

Waiver Add: Cole Kmet, TE, Bears

Kmet is starting to get more consistent work in the Bears' offense. He had five catches for 51 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday, and Kmet also scored last week at Dallas.

Waiver Add: Case Keenum, QB, Bills

Josh Allen suffered an elbow injury late in Sunday's loss to the Jets and was set for tests early this week. It's unclear if he will miss time, but given Allen's elbow injury history, Keenum is a capable backup option in the high-powered Bills offense.

Waiver Add: Chris Moore, WR, Texans

Houston was shorthanded at wideout on Thursday with Nico Collins injured and Brandin Cooks sitting out. Cooks' status is unclear after apparently being disgruntled over a lack of trade at the deadline, and Moore stands to benefit. He made the most of his opportunity in Week 9 with four catches for 43 yards and one touchdown.

Waiver Add: J.J. Taylor, RB, Patriots

With Damien Harris sidelined again, Taylor saw nine carries and had one catch in New England's blowout of the Colts. Harris's recent injury issues could push Taylor up the depth chart.

Waiver Add: Samori Toure, WR, Packers

Green Bay's bad luck continues, as rookie Romeo Doubs could miss time with a high ankle sprain. Toure saw four targets against the Lions, finishing with two catches for 34 yards. He could be forced onto the field more often with the Packers running out of options.
