This "Thursday Night Football" game between the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers has an over/under at just 37 points, suggesting that touchdowns are going to be at a premium. That makes me want to take some chances on some long odds plays.
I love the passing games in this one, which has already been covered in length. Rather than double-dip on some of these receivers, I want to spread the net to ... the guys who are throwing them the football.
These odds are long, and the payouts would be oh so beautiful. Both are half-unit bets for me. Come on, let's have some fun!
ICYMI: Rookie Will Levis is the starting quarterback for Tennessee at the moment. He had a terrific debut, throwing for four touchdowns in a Week 8 win over the Falcons.
Levis had seven rushing attempts in that game, and in his four years at Kentucky, the QB often used his legs, rushing in 17 touchdowns.
There isn't much more science to this one, I just loved what I saw from the young QB last week and think there's a world where he finds himself near the goal line and rushing one in himself.
If you bet on one quarterback rushing one in, it seems only right to bet both. Again, this whole article is devoid of true scientific analysis, and I apologize for that.
Pickett rushed in a touchdown two weeks ago and has four in his career. He has four red zone attempts over the past three games, so that's good enough for me.
Year-to-date on touchdowns: 9-28 (-3.25u)
