NFL teams in need of help at wide receiver can cross one potential target off their list.

For the past decade, Chris Conley has bounced around the NFL providing teams an elite run blocker capable of making plays in the passing game. He has suited up for the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers.

In 132 career NFL games, Conley has hauled in 226 passes for 2,998 yards and 15 touchdowns. With that being said, he won't be adding any more yards to that total.

On Saturday afternoon, Conley announced his retirement from the NFL.

"When i was a kid i wrote down a set of goals. On that list was 'Play 10 years in the NFL.' Now that this goal has been accomplished it’s time to set sights on something new," Conley wrote on Instagram. "The past 10 years have been a dream. Getting the opportunity to play in the league was an honor and whether it was catching touchdowns or blocking for them i truly gave it my all.

"I cant mention everyone who was instrumental in my growth as a man and player but if you played a part, I extend a heartfelt thank you. To my teammates, training staff, and coaches thanks for the friendship and trust throughout the years.God makes no mistakes and I’m thankful he proved this to me throughout my career. He is more than enough. See you in the next dream."

Prior to going pro in 2015, Conley was an impact player at Georgia.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that Conley will go back to school to become a filmmaker. Maybe he'll turn yet another dream into a reality.

We wish Conley all the best in the next chapter of his life.
